Saudações, cidadãos do mundo. Saudações, cidadãos do Brasil. ::: Greetings, citizens of the world. Greetings, citizens of Brazil. Once again, we take over a website as a protest, and to be able to communicate with you. Just as promised, Bolsonaro and his minions continue to fulfill their goal of not handing over "not even an inch of indigenous lands". However, for land grabbers, ruralists and large landowners, the protection institutions seem to make a point of looking the other way. This is the case of the indigenous lands in the municipality of Rondolândia, which have increased their deforestation by thousands of times since Bolsonaro made his pronouncement. The region is already plagued by corruption, as shown by the arrest of the town's former mayor, Agnaldo Rodrigues de Carvalho. It should be obvious to everyone that no ruler in the current system aims at the welfare of the population, but rather their own interests and those of those who put them in power. And here is visible all the effort made to please the ruralists who support the mayor of the municipality and the governor of Mato Grosso, as well as Bolsonaro. What is happening in the region does not only affect the indigenous people who inhabit the area, including endangered and isolated ethnic groups. It affects every one of us. These lands and their resources belong to and benefit each one of us. The more than 2300 hectares deforested belong to the entire Brazilian population. And, when we are in a water crisis, each one of these trees makes a difference. Millions of people without water for their most basic needs for survival and human dignity, in exchange for the illegal, illegitimate, and immoral enrichment of a few, but powerful, allies of the local and federal government. We can no longer tolerate that these people continue to harm the entire population for the sake of their own well-being. Bolsonaro, Mauro Mendes and José Guedes. The people you govern for are the people you depend on. We are the people who make the bread you eat. We are the people who file your documents. We are the people who deliver your packages. We are everywhere. We are Anonymous. :::
